Ladder space presents Industrious youth by Sara Annsofidotter - an exhibition exploring the centuries-old steel industry located deep in the forests of Sweden, where a young generation is left with the ecological and economic consequences of the eagerness of industrialism.

Centered at the production site of large-scale steel infrastructure, Industrious youth follows two teenage girls aimlessly drifting in the industrial area, parallel to the movements of workers welding a roof construction. Unfolding between the materiality of the steel factory and the surrounding environment, the installation echoes the symbiosis of natural resources and the economic tracks laid out for new generations.
